MacGathering & SoHo Tech Show, LA 2006 • Birds of a Feather (BoF)

Birds of a Feather sessions are a chance for like-minded people to meet and discuss related issues, learning from one another. These are not panels or presentations. They are somewhat moderated discussion groups. Free to all Pass-holders, including the Exhibits Pass.

BoF sessions are a great chance to get together for some extra special exchange and a last chance to meet more like-minded people at the MacGathering™ and SoHo Tech Show™. We have room for 3 more sessions, so if you have an idea and/or would like to host a BoF session, send us your proposal. As long as it ties into Apple, Mac, or computer use, we're game.

All "official" BoF sessions listed here will be at 5:30 on Saturday in the Garland Center seminar rooms.

Podcasters BoF

After Podcasting 101 we're hosting a Podcasting Discussion, complete with a panel top Southern California Podcasters to answer your questions or discuss various podcasting issues.

Cell Phone BoF

Cell phones bring us a slew of decisions to make. Which carrier covers your area best? What phone model has the best features for you? And if you’re a Mac user, there are even more questions if you want to take advantage of syncing your address book and calendar with your Mac. Plus, there’s the question of using your cell phone as a modem. Best minute plans... data plans...

Come share your experiences and learn from others... because you can buy every phone and try every carrier yourself. This is free to all pass-holders including exhibits-only pass holders.
